Dino Dana The Movie lands new museum homes with Sinking Ship Entertainment
The film's global reach continues to grow, underscoring SSE's expanding footprint in the museum theatre sector.Sinking Ship Entertainment (SSE) proudly announced today the addition of new museum partners for their acclaimed film, Dino Dana The Movie.
Dino Dana The Movie will debut in Colombia this year at the Maloka Museu Interactivo in Bogotá, an esteemed science museum known for its interactive exhibits and educational programs. Maloka, which has inspired over 20 million visitors through its various programs, is a pioneer in science and technology education, making it a perfect venue for Dino Dana The Movie. In Ecuador, the film will be showcased at the Cinemamalecon, a cinema located at Malecón 2000, the most iconic place in the downtown of Guayaquil. This cultural hub integrates urban spaces with cultural and educational activities, providing an ideal location for engaging young audiences and fostering educational outreach.

The film also continues its success across North American museums, with both the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa and the Putnam Museum in Davenport, Iowa, added as recent partners. The Canadian Museum of Nature, a premier institution known for its extensive natural history collections and innovative exhibits, has been a steadfast supporter of SSE's Dino franchise. The museum previously partnered with SSE on an augmented reality app for their Planet Ice exhibition in 2022, which resulted in a nomination at the 2023 Banff Media Festival Rockie Awards.

The Putnam Museum in Davenport, Iowa has also renewed its partnership on Dino Dana The Movie with SSE. The museum is known for its immersive and hands-on learning experiences, making it a fitting venue for the film.
Dino Dana The Movie, Sinking Ship’s first foray into feature films, launched in 2020. The feature length version has been sold into over 45 countries with the aid of sales agent Odin’s Eye Entertainment, while the museum version continues to screen across North America and internationally.
